I work a whole lot better and faster when I'm under a deadline. Someone once asked Mark Twain what was the source of his greatest inspiration. Twain answered..."a deadline." Albert Camus (pictured left) in The Rebel (a book I blogged about here) described the effectiveness of a deadline this way..."Damocles never danced better than under that sword."
