I disagreed with John McCain on a lot of things and I did not vote for him. But I respected his willingness to work with people across the aisle.

Partisanship is destroying our political institutions.

Scheds

Classes are rolling along into the second week. Got a good crew this year. My sched is identical to last year (a first...usually my schedule changes all over the place).

1st Period: AP World History
2nd Period: AP World History
3rd Period: AP European History
4th Period:  AP World History
5th Period: AP U.S. History
6th Period: AP U.S. History
7th Period: AP World History
8th Period: Conference Period

Always good to the end the day with a conference period. Two years in a row. I'm getting spoiled.

Nostalgia

Yeah. Nostalgia can be a tricky thing. My Pastor told me to go for it and give another watch.

NASA?

This is one of my favorite mugs. I got it at the Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral about three years ago. It has developed a heat fracture from my brewing of green tea. I have many mugs that are older that I use as frequently and they do not have the same fractures. Really shakes my confidence in the American space program!

I'm supposed to be listening to Aretha. What a loss to the world.

But I've been listening to Radiohead all day. Better encapsulates my mood when there is loss.

I just noticed I have neglected this thing since last April.

That's like the longest drought since I started this thing.

And lots has been going on. I mean, I've had the time to post but I just have been focused on other things. Important things.
