Been super busy but felt the need to get blogging again.
Wanted to say Rest in Peace to our cat Simba. Simba passed away two days before Christmas. Simba entered our lives twelve years ago when I rescued him from above the ceiling tiles of my classroom. He had just been born a week or two prior to his rescue. His mother had died and we adopted him. He was so little he didn't even know how to eat.
He had a lot of personality and was super loyal. He was very playful and liked to serve as a guard cat. We were caught off guard by the suddenness of his sickness. He died two days after he started acting sick. Kidney failure. It was a gut wrenching week. But our memories of Simba always bring a smile.
Bye Simba. You will be missed.
