Overheard in my AP World History class at the beginning of the year...We were discussing the brain sizes of hominids in relation to modern man. I demonstrated that you can see an approximation of your own brain size by holding your two fists together touching at the palms. We discussed that larger brains usually meant greater intelligence.
One of my AP students raised their hand and asked with all sincerity...
"What if you only have one arm?"
