One of my students who has autism gave me this bracelet for Autism Awareness Month. He is one of the smartest and brightest students I have this year.
I have heard some say that maybe a re-labeling is in order. Some say we now have plenty of awareness of autism in our society but what we need now is more acceptance of those with autism. Autism Acceptance Month. I like the sound of it.
